This workshop will include the following techniques:

• Covering your cake (dummy) with fondant with perfectly sharp edges. Standard and upside-down techniques.
• Gilding with gold leaves.
• Making gold crackle effect on the cake board.
• Creating marble
• Basic training about working with isomalt – tempering, coloring, and how to avoid loss of gloss and maintain transparency.
• Making isomalt geode crystals.
• Multicolor ruffles.
• Introduction of different types of airbrush machines and guns and their maintenance as well as basic repairs.
• Getting to know your airbrush machine with various techniques before using it on the model cake.
• Decorating the cake with airbrush and stencil.
• Final touches with hand painting.
• Assembling all the different parts in a composition.
