This workshop will include the following techniques:

  • Covering your cake (dummy) with fondant with perfectly sharp edges. Standard and upside-down techniques.
  • Gilding the ball with gold leaves.
  • Making gold crackle effect.
  • Preparing homemade black edible glitter to decorate the cake.
  • Decorating the cake with fondant paper.
  • Basic training about working with isomalt – tempering, coloring, and how to avoid loss of gloss and maintain transparency.
  • Making various isomalt decorations.
  • Assembling all the different parts in a composition.
